Drink less alcohol

OK, it’s nice to have a ‘real’ drink from time to time.  However, it is worth remembering that every 13 pints you don’t drink between now and the racing season is likely to reduce your mass by what it would have been by about half a kilogram.   Substituting the odd alcoholic drink for some good quality water with ice and lemon in a nice glass might not be so painful once you run the numbers.
